Frequently asked questions
Does the free site stay free?
Yes. Every suburb profile, every data point, every comparison on streetsignal.co.za remains free and open to everyone. Data products provide structured access (PDF reports, API, embeds) for organisations that need neighbourhood intelligence integrated into their own workflows.
Does StreetSignal remain editorially independent?
Yes. Data products provide access to the same data that powers the free site. They do not influence how data is presented. No suburb is scored or framed differently based on commercial relationships. The methodology is public and the same for every suburb.
When will these products be available?
We are building based on demand. Register your interest and we will prioritise the products people actually need. Early registrants will get first access.
What data is available?
All 10 data dimensions currently on the free site: safety indices (CHI composite, rate and volume sub-indices, crime category breakdowns), property valuations, school outcomes, transport connectivity, healthcare access, household conditions, civic responsiveness, and more.
