Methodology

Corrections policy

StreetSignal is committed to accuracy. When errors occur, we correct them publicly and document what changed, when, and why.

How errors are reported

Errors can be reported via the feedback widget on every suburb page, or by email to [email protected].

How they are triaged

Every reported error is verified against the source data within 48 hours. If the report concerns a data display issue, we check the raw dataset, the processing pipeline, and the rendered output. If the report concerns source data accuracy, we note it and contact the data provider where possible.

How they are corrected

Once verified, a fix is deployed and the correction is logged on this page with the date, the nature of the error, and the scope of affected data. If a correction changes a suburb's safety index or ranking position, that is noted explicitly.
